Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium.<\/strong> The Pittsburgh Zoo is one of only six major zoo and aquarium\u00a0 combinations in the U.S.. It exhibits more than 4,000 animals representing 475 species, including 20 threatened or endangered species. The PPG Aquarium is a 45,000 square foot, two-story aquarium that presents several aquatic habitats.<\/p>\n

Kennywood Park.<\/strong> Kennywood is one of the oldest and most beloved amusement parks in America. Founded in 1898. With over 31 major rides, and a large Kiddie land.<\/p>\n

Frank Llyod Wrights Fallingwater<\/strong>. Fallingwater is a house designed by Frank Llyod Wright in 1935, for retail magnate Edgar Kaufmann. Two other houses in southwestern Pennsylvania that are excellent examples of his Usonian-style architecture. Flight 93 National Memorial. <\/strong>On September, 11, 2001, the actions of the 40 passengers and crew aboard one of the planes, Flight 93, saved a\u00a0 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Located near Shanksville.<\/p>\n

Carrie Blast Furnace. <\/strong>Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area operates tours of the Carrie Blast Furnaces at the former U. S. Steel Homestead Works.
